The word HINDERSLYNE derives from the name of the place where I live- Hinders Lane. When I applied for a GCCF prefix in 1998, I gave them 12 alternatives and Hinderslyne was number 11! I was a little disappointed when the prefix came through as I had wanted something romantic like Harlequin or Aurora, but now, I am glad the GCCF chose it, as it always reminds me of home. ![]()
I have been breeding British Shorthairs since 1998, but still feel that I am a novice to the world of cat breeding and showing, but have always had a deep love of all animals, especially cats. I have grown up with cats and dogs, but never Pedigree breeds, until February 1997. I now have 9 cats, 2 British Shorthair neuters, and 1 Bengal neuter, 4 British Shorthair queens (Young Ladies)and 2 British Shorthair boys who will hopefully become Show neuters( 'Young Lads) I am always happy to chat about my 'family', you can contact me on 01452 (Glos) 830312 or e-mail on Jenny@hinderslynebsh.freeserve.co.uk. |
